Let us endure and keep covenant.

I think Mike Huckabee is a sweetheart. He's a great Republican because he's actually HUMAN and not a robot. He's got a great sense of humor (watch his Chuck Norris campaign ad). He has no problem with raising taxes if it helps people and he's also conservative.

(My goodness, it is okay to raise taxes people. It's okay. Republicans had a energy bill modified recently because it increased taxes for oil companies. Whoa, yeah, 'cause they are like poor, you know?)

Most Republicans today seem to be the opposite to me. They mouth off on how fiscally conservative they are, how badass they are when it comes to fighting terrorists (i.e. weeeee torture isn't wrong. It's awesome!!!!!), and don't really give a hoot on morality. (Okay, I'm sort of thinking of Giuliani here, and what I said applies in different degrees to each candidate).

Everyone's pissed at Huckabee because he asked in a New York Times article if Mormons believed Jesus and the devil are brothers. People interpret it as a smeer attack on Romney (I read the article before the smeer interpretation came out and thought he was just asking a innocent question).

Basically Romney's being like "O, woe is me. I'm such a minority and you people are ignorant and want to attack me. VOTE FOR ME I SPENT 7 FREAKING MILLION DOLLARS IN IOWA."

Huckabee's like "Yeah, i don't know much about Mormonism, and I made a mistake let me apologize to Romney."

OH WAIT WHO'S THE BIGGER JERK?

Yeah, it's Romney. He's trying to capitalize on the political machine that takes one comment and spins it way out of line. He won't even say waterboarding is wrong because he might be leaking secrets to the terrorists or something. Pffffff. Jerk.

Also Huckabee is the only Republican who reaches out to minorities. If he and Obama won the nominations, the Republicans wouldn't know what to do with their tight cracker asses. Republicans can paint a woman as a shrew but they wouldn't have nooooo idea how to paint a black man, and it would force them to actually ponder the whiteness of their party.

Yee haw! I love politics. I love making fun of both parties. Coming up . . . something, I guess.

Oh, and this video where Ron Paul wipes John McCain all over the floor for McCain's ignorance is awesome.

Tender Mercy lyrics

Artist: Waterdeep
Album: Enter The Worship Circle
Praise the lord, o my soul and all my deepest parts

Give praise to the one who pulled you out of darkness

Tender mercy you forgive me, slow to anger, quick to love (repeat 2x's)

Bridge: as high as the mountains try
Your love falls all around me
As wide as the east to west
My sins are taken from me

new york times (article) on che guevara titled "a revolutionary icon, and now, a bikini"

"In fact, 40 years after his death, Che — born Ernesto Guevara de la Serna — is as much a marketing tool as an international revolutionary icon. Which raises the question of what exactly does the sheer proliferation of his image — the distant gaze, the scraggly beard and the beret adorned with a star — mean in a decidedly capitalist world?"

--irony-- don't you love it?

read the article. it's short and sweet and guevara's daughter even talks about meeting j.f.k. jr.
